These Terms of Service govern your use of the Maddy app and mymaddy.app, operated by Reck the Fort LLC. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you are setting up the service for a minor or another adult, you confirm you have the legal authority to do so as a parent, legal guardian, or authorized representative.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at support@mymaddy.app.
Maddy is offered as an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or annual, bought through Apple's App Store on iPhone and iPad or through Google Play on Android.
All billing is handled by the store you subscribe through, Apple or Google. We do not store or process payment information directly. To cancel or manage billing on iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. On Android, open the Play Store, tap your profile, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, or go to play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds follow the store you paid through. On the App Store, Apple's refund policy applies. On Google Play, you can ask Google for a refund within 48 hours of a charge; after that, write to us at support@mymaddy.app and we will look at it with you.
One plan covers your circle's inner ring, no matter whose phone, Apple ID or Google account they use. Family Sharing is not turned on for the Maddy subscription.
You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose, attempt to access another circle's data, reverse engineer the app, upload harmful content, or use the service in any way that could damage or impair it.
By uploading photos or voice notes to the service, you grant Reck the Fort LLC a limited license to store and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the service within your circle. You retain ownership of all content you upload.
You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Account deletion is permanent and will result in the deletion of all your data. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription: Apple or Google keeps billing until you cancel it with them, as described above, so cancel first. Deletion does not issue a refund for unused subscription time.
The Maddy app, site, and all associated content, design, and code are owned by Reck the Fort LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the service without our written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reck the Fort LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of San Mateo County, California.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
