Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Maddy app and mymaddy.app, operated by Reck the Fort LLC. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you are setting up the service for a minor or another adult, you confirm you have the legal authority to do so as a parent, legal guardian, or authorized representative.

Maddy is a daily living skills support app. It is not a medical device, therapeutic tool, or clinical service. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition including AuDHD, ADHD, autism, or any other neurodevelopmental or mental health condition. Use of Maddy does not substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic care.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at support@mymaddy.app.

Subscription and payment

Maddy is offered as an auto-renewing annual subscription managed through Apple's App Store.

Founding Circle (first 100 accounts): $99/year, locked for life at this price
Standard: $149/year
Free trial: 7 days, after which your payment method will be charged automatically

All billing is handled by Apple. We do not store or process payment information directly. To cancel your subscription or manage billing, go to your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds outside of Apple's standard refund policy. Family Sharing is enabled on the Maddy subscription.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose, attempt to access another circle's data, reverse engineer the app, upload harmful content, or use the service in any way that could damage or impair it.

Photos and media

By uploading photos or voice notes to the service, you grant Reck the Fort LLC a limited license to store and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the service within your circle. You retain ownership of all content you upload.

Account deletion

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Account deletion is permanent and will result in the deletion of all your data. Deletion cancels your subscription via RevenueCat but does not automatically issue a refund for unused subscription time.

Intellectual property

The Maddy app, site, and all associated content, design, and code are owned by Reck the Fort LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the service without our written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reck the Fort LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of San Mateo County, California.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
