Common questions

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Open Maddy on your new device and tap "Restore Purchases" on the welcome screen or in Settings. Your subscription is linked to your Apple ID and will restore automatically as long as you are signed into the same Apple ID that made the original purchase.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to your iPhone Settings, then Apple ID, then Subscriptions, then Maddy, then Cancel. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again after that.

What does AuDHD mean?

AuDHD refers to the experience of having both autism and ADHD. If that sounds like you or your person, you're in the right place.

Can I use Maddy for more than one person?

Yes. One subscription covers your circle. You can set up multiple subjects within the same account, each with their own tasks, companion, and reward system.

What is the caregiver PIN for?

The caregiver tab is PIN-protected so the person using Maddy day-to-day cannot accidentally change their own task values or reward goals. The PIN is set by whoever sets up the app. If you have forgotten it, email us and we will help you reset it.

I am a Founding Circle member. Is my $99/yr price really locked?

Yes. If you subscribed as a Founding Circle member, your price is locked at $99/yr for as long as your subscription remains active. It will not go up when the standard price increases.

Is Maddy a medical or therapeutic tool?

No. Maddy is a daily living skills support app. It is not a medical device, therapeutic intervention, or clinical service. It does not diagnose or treat any condition. If you or someone in your care needs clinical support, please work with a qualified professional.

I am a professional. Can I recommend Maddy to clients?

Yes. Many IEP coordinators, behavioral therapists, and regional center support workers use and recommend Maddy. If you have questions about the research foundation, see the Research page or email us directly.

Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app: Settings, then Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data including tasks, earnings history, photos, voice notes, and your circle. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. If you have trouble deleting your account in the app, email support@mymaddy.app and we will delete it manually within 24 hours.
